The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple to Brown Curriculum series has two (2) levels. Level 1&2 and Level 3&4.

The BJJ Curriculum was created to develop all aspects of the fight game to take each student to their highest possible level for each belt.

Marcello teaches the most important techniques, tricks and details that speed up the learning process and facilitates the performance of each movement. All the positions flow Step-by-Step with the White-Purple Curriculum (Lvl. 1-8).

You will learn effective positions, how to attack and defend, counters and re-counters, guard passes, and set-ups to use when fighting more advanced training partners. All the positions branching off of the White-Purple Belt Curriculum.

Techniques Included:

  1. Crossing the knee over the thigh guard pass to leg lock
  2. Fly attack of the opponent's back from the north south immobilization
  3. Flying armbar
  4. Monteiro's version of the De La Riva hook attacking the back
  5. De La Riva sweep flipping the opponent over and getting the mount position

  7. Half guard control pushing the knee to reverse armbar
  8. Armbar set up to bicep slicer

  10. Back choke grabbing the opponent's pants and passing your leg behind his head
  11. Escaping the back attack with the stomach facing down
  12. Explanation of opening guard standing up to achilles control position
  13. Monteiro's version of the De La Riva hook to helicopter sweep
  14. Omoplata escape catching the opponent with the omoplata
  15. Overhook side control to high pressure kimura
  16. Quick armbar applying the shin from the scissor side control
  17. Side control countering opponent's arms and legs then attacking his back
  18. Sit through takedown
  19. Standing position to straight foot lock to achilles tendon control position
  20. Standing up opening opponent's guard going into the achilles control position
