The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple to Brown Curriculum series has two (2) levels. Level 1&2 and Level 3&4.

The BJJ Curriculum was created to develop all aspects of the fight game to take each student to their highest possible level for each belt.

Marcello teaches the most important techniques, tricks and details that speed up the learning process and facilitates the performance of each movement. All the positions flow Step-by-Step with the White-Purple Curriculum (Lvl. 1-8).

You will learn effective positions, how to attack and defend, counters and re-counters, guard passes, and set-ups to use when fighting more advanced training partners. All the positions branching off of the White-Purple Belt Curriculum.

Techniques Included:

  1. Closed guard grip behind opponent's back pulling the arm and getting the mount
  2. Countering the knee up with one leg spider guard to the double leg attack
  3. Half guard control to omoplata submission
  4. Open guard control countering the knee up pushing the other knee for the sweep
  5. Scissor choke from knee on stomach
  6. Spider guard to spinning sweep
  7. Back attack with body triangle
  8. Armbar set up attacking the wrist to break opponent's grip
  9. Attacking the back from the mount position
  10. Crossing the knee over the thigh guard pass
  11. Driving the knee over the shin to get the side control
  12. Dropping knee down then standing back up to take opponent down attacking the mount
  13. Grabbing the collar to the double leg or backwards takedown getting the mount
  14. Overhook side control to kimura and armbar
  15. Reverse armbar from the side control
  16. Rolling forward to leg and foot lock
  17. Spider guard counter to achilles control
  18. Triangle escape stepping against opponent's bicep
  19. Uncle Ron north south choke
  20. Wristlock from the overhook side control
  21. Wristlock from the scissor side control
